Amplify's founder, Ewurama Ewusi-Mensah, is a coach and consultant with a knack for helping individuals and teams to think creatively and apply strategic insight. She believes every nonprofit should have the foundation it needs to focus on what really matters: achieving its mission. Ewurama founded Amplify to help nonprofits tell their stories and strengthen their fundraising systems—so they can build the support they need to drive impact.

With over 20 years of experience, including over nine years in international nonprofit fundraising, she has a deep understanding of the challenges facing nonprofit organizations. She honed her communications skills through extensive experience in editing, writing, and publishing. Ewurama has a passion for working with organizations pursuing a more just and equitable future and helping historically marginalized communities to flourish.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in History & Science from Harvard

University, lives in Los Angeles, and loves to laugh!
